merger_navigo_extra_care4all_ace_homecare_thumb.jpgThe boards of Care4All and NAViGO have granted their approval for a potential merger, to create a new wholly owned subsidiary.

It is the first stage in a phased proposal which aims to ultimately unite Ace Homecare, NAViGO Extra and Care4All in the creation of an innovative organisation offering a diverse range of health and social care services within the local community and employing over 250 staff.

Subject to a thorough due diligence process, the new organisation will come into being later in the year under a new name.

We want to make it clear to you – our service users and their friends and families – that continuity of care will continue and you’ll still see the same familiar care professionals while existing services will be retained.

Why is a merger being considered?

We have a long history of successfully partnering together. We share the same values and our mission and purpose is very closely aligned.

In a challenging post-pandemic environment for health and social care services, we believe we can be stronger and more resilient together. Better placed to innovate and support the vulnerable communities we serve by working even more closely as a single organisation.

All three organisations are known for their specialism in providing high-quality services and supporting the needs and improving the health and wellbeing of local individuals and the wider community.

Collectively, all of them have the experience, skills and knowledge to support a broad range of vulnerable people including those with a range of mental health conditions, older people and individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

While we remain committed to existing projects, the merger creates an opportunity to strengthen services, invest in support, serve more people and create better outcomes for both current and potential service users.

Ace Homecare, Care4All and NAViGO Extra staff have been informed and we will continue to ensure that our service users are kept up to date throughout the process.
